This blog is me writing about my own running. That is the whole of it. I’m not a coach, not a physio, not anything really, and nothing here is medical advice.

So please don’t take what worked for me as a plan for you. My knees are not your knees.

If you’re thinking about starting, or you’re carrying something that hurts, see your GP first. That goes double if you have a heart or chest condition, if you’ve been off your feet for a long while, or if a niggle has stopped being a niggle.

If something hurts in a way that feels sharp, or one sided, or worse every time you go out, get it looked at rather than running through it. I have learned that one the hard way.

You go out at your own risk, same as I do. I keep this as accurate as I can, but things change and I get things wrong.
